Fun Friday: Austin Lloyd Subscription Box

 Austin Lloyd Toy Subscription Box

Austin Llyod subscription box

If you want to make sure your child always has fun and engaging toys appropriate for their age and play level, Austin Lloyd is here to help. Each month, Austin Lloyd selects high quality toys that fit your child’s age. These toys are bright and fun and helps them develop cognitive skills.

Austin Lloyd toy subscription boxes are targeted to babies and toddlers up to age 3. There are 5 play levels and you can select which one is best for your child. You can opt to receive the boxes every month, or every other month. Each month features toys falling within the theme of the month.

Austin Lloyd was kind enough to send me their April box and the theme was “Blooming Gardens.” So most of the toys (including one book) was somehow related to gardens. We received the 2-3 year old box.

Here is what we received in our box:

Hape Build a Bug Sorter–This is a sort of puzzle featuring bugs and encourages counting, sorting and color identification. Both of my kids really liked this puzzle.

¬†Guidecraft Primary Puzzle– Since it’s a garden theme this month, we got the tree shaped primary puzzle. It contains a few colorful pieces and can be assembled in the board, or standing up (as my 4 year old discovered on her own).

The Little Gardener Board Book by Teenie Greenies–This cute little board book teaches young kids the basics of what it takes to have a garden. The features little flaps to reveal surprises underneath!

Bird Whistle–This was the only plastic toy in the box. My kids thought it was awesome. My ears, not so much. We got the blue bird whistle.

Ready, Set, Go Car by Manhattan Toy–This whimsical and funky car is made of wood with rubber tires. Not really part of the garden theme, but my 2 year old son really loves this car!

I love that the Austin Lloyd toy subscription box features toys from high quality brands like Hape, Melissa and Doug, Plan Toys and other great companies. We are trying to cut down on so many plastic toys and Austin Lloyd is a great way to be introduced to new companies.

Austin Lloyd also offers a donation service. When you are done with your toys and books, you can request a postage-paid shipping label and send your toys back in your Austin Lloyd box and they will donate them to one of their partners, such as Room to Grow and Better World books. You can, of course, keep your toys and pass them to a friend or relative.

Visit the Austin Lloyd website to see which subscription box is best for your needs. You can also like Austin Lloyd on facebook where they have fun promotions and other info to check out!

  15. This would make a fantastic baby shower or big sibling gift for someone expecting a new baby! I am a huge fan of wooden toys. My guys are hard on things, and we’ve never yet had a wooden toy that couldn’t be fixed. Plastic… not so much.
