I just got some awesome snack chips and crackers from Crunchmaster. These crackers/snacks are well-seasoned, crunchy and gluten-free! So anyone can enjoy them!
Whether you have a wheat-allergy or not, it is a good idea to limit wheat products, or even avoid them altogether if you can manage it. Just do a web search to find out why. I’m weak, so I don’t always manage it. But when I have great alternatives like these, it makes it a little easier!
Cinnamon and Sugar Grammy Crisps: These are part of the Kids Crisps line geared toward, well–kids! Based on the name, I thought they were going to be similar to Graham crackers. They don’t really taste like graham crackers. More like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, if you’re familiar, but about half as sweet. They could have stood to be a little sweeter (this is my sweet tooth talking, not a health-conscious brain!) but the kids are still willing to eat them.
Cheddar Cheesy Crisps: This is the other flavor just for kids. It had a good texture and flavor, but the flavor was a little on the strong side.
Multi-Seed Original Crackers: These are probably my favorite of the 6 bags I got. Made of brown rice flour, this cracker contains sesame, quinoa, flax and amaranth seeds and is very flavorful!
Multi-Seed Garlic and Rosemary Crackers: I think these were my hubby’s favorite, though I liked the original better. The flavor was a little strong for me. That just goes to show everyone’s tastes are different!
Multi-Grain Roasted vegetable: These chips are made with brown rice flour as well as yellow corn and adds the flavors of roasted peppers, onions, garlic and tomatoes for a savory crunch.
White Cheddar Baked Rice Crackers: These crunchy oven-baked crackers are made with rice flour and are not as fragile as I expected! Not super hard, but just not breaking at the lightest pressure. The flavor is very mild, almost bland, but good. i think it would be really good with some healthy dip of some kind, like humus, guacamole or tsaziki.
Whether you or someone in your family has a wheat allergy or not, Crunchmaster crackers and crisps make a great snack choice for people of all ages.
