Are you looking for ways to keep your kids entertained this summer, but have limited funds? If you can’t afford summer camp, but would like the kids to get out once in a while, check out these companies offering summer freebies just for kids!

AMF Bowling offers kids 15 and under 3 FREE games every weekday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Shoe rental is not included.

At Barnes and Noble, your child can read any 8 books and earn a FREE book!

Home Depot offers free monthly workshops for kids 5-12 where they get to make and keep a project, apron and commemorative pin. Workshops are 9-12 on the first Saturday of the month. First come first serve!

JoAnn Fabrics hosts make it and take it crafts for kids on select Saturdays. Next one is June 18, 11-1.

Lakeshore Learning stores offer free crafts for kids 3 and up, every Saturday 11-3.

Lego Stores offer free monthly model builds for kids. Check your local store for the next one.

Lowe’s also offers Bi-weekly Build and Grow clinics.

At Pottery Barn Kids stores May 15-July 17, kids can go for weekly story time featuring healthy snacks from Happy Family, character appearances and activities and giveaways from PBS kids. Plus, red any 8 books from their recommended reading list by July 31 and get a free book!

These options are not completely free, but are super cheap:

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse. Cinemark is offering kids’ films this summer for $1 each, or 10 for $5 if you buy the bundle. Check for participating theaters!

Michael’s offers crafts for kids in half hour sessions from 10-11:30am. Cost is $2 per session.
