Wellness Wednesday: G-Freely Subscription Box

G-Freely Gluten Free Snacks

gluten free snacks

If you are allergic to wheat (or even if you’re just limiting it) you may have a hard time finding great snacks that don’t leave you feeling deprived. Gluten-free snacks are out there. And G-Freely is there to help you find which ones you like the best!

G-Freely is a subscription box service that sends you a box of gluten-free goodies once a month. You get to try them all out and decide which ones you like and which ones are not for you.
I got a box of samples from GFreely, so I could share with you guys what type of things are in the box. Honestly didn’t love them all, but between the whole family, everything was liked by somebody!
HalfPops Popcorn–This is popcorn that is, you guessed it! half popped. It is a little more crunchy and hard than regular popcorn. I personally prefer my popcorn completely popped. But DH and the kids tore this stuff up!
Ginny Bakes Coconut Oatmeal Bliss Cookies–Oatmeal cookies. Need I say more? These were quite possibly my favorite product in the box. They were delicious and, of course, gluten-free!
Sun Cups–These are shaped like classic peanut butter cups, but made with sunflower butter and dark chocolate. If you like eating sunflower seeds, you will love these, because that is the dominant flavor in the candy, even stronger than the chocolate.
Graw Bar–This is a healthy “raw” food bar containing pumpkin seeds, raisins, dried apples and a variety of nuts. My son ate this thing up! He’s my little eater. 🙂
Boulder Canyon Rice and Bean Chips–This is probably the best bean and rice chip I have ever tasted! It reminds me of the flavor of plain Sun Chips.
Kay’s Naturals Protein Pretzels–I got the cinnamon toast flavor. I actually would have preferred plain pretzels, but these were ok. I’m sure they’re a perfect snack for someone!
Vigilent Eats Oat Based Cereal–This was basically instant oatmeal. This is an easy and convenient healthy snack with 8g fiber and 11g protein in the bowl. Plus, it comes with a spoon. I got the Goji-Cacao flavor, which wasn’t my favorite, but I wouldn’t mind trying the Maca Double Chocolate!
Chiquita Fruit Chips–This is dried fruit. We got the bananas. Which was actually perfect, because my 16 month old is obsessed with bananas. His face lights up when he sees us peeling one. So I knew he’d love these. And he did. Tore them up in no time!
Saffron Road Moroccan Tagine Simmer Sauce–I actually haven’t tried this one yet, but it smells kind of sweet. It’s a cooking sauce for meat.
So, if you’re looking for a wheat free diet, you might look into a Gfreely subscription. Subscriptions start at $19/mo. Also be sure to check out the Gfreely website for gluten-free recipes!
