Make it Monday: Homemade Bath Paint
Homemade Bath Paint
The first time I wanted to look into making tub-paints (like it isn’t hard enough getting my daughter out of the bath tub!) I found this recipe.
However, while this recipe was all well and good and pretty cheap, I’ve found an even easier solution. Just use shaving cream!
And there you have it. You got the fun, gooey consistency your kids (and I must admit, I) love! It’s easy to make and to clean up. Only thing is, it doesn’t really keep, so don’t try to make extra for next time, because it will dissolve.
My daughter loved both of them, so I recommend you try out these cheap and easy recipes
Super fun!! I like your shaving cream idea more 😉 Way easier!!
OH the grandkids will love this
I hope they do! I’d love to know if they enjoyed it. 🙂
Well, I must make this. I put fizzies in the boys bath tonight because we had run out of bath paint. I wish I had read this before their bath time but I will have it ready for tomorrow. Thanks for this great article and the wonderful money saving tip. Can’t wait to try it.
I bet they had fun with the fizzies too. 🙂
Thank you for sharing, my daughter would love this. For a edible version I have seen you can use whip cream. I haven’t tried it yet though.
How fun! I always liked to make bathtime fun, with toys and just anything to keep them in there as long as possible. Vicki
this is so great my daughter would love this
This is awesome!! I love it and can’t wait to make this for my kids!! Thank You!
