Kidable Activities for Kids
Do you want to give your kids educational, fun activities but are not sure where to start? Kidable Adventures offers a Little Thinker’s Box, geared toward kids preschool and kindergarten age. Between the five included activities included each box, a little science, art, math and language arts is included!
Each month is a different theme and all the activities fall within that theme. Kidable Adventures sent the Up, Up and Away themed box for my 4 year old to try out. Each activity packet had to do with things in the sky.
The first activity my daughter wanted to do was a simple model airplane. We did let her brother help a little since he wanted to be involved too! The airplane packet also included flashcards for the child to identify colors and patterns.
The balloon themed pack included this balloon funny-face activity. You could glue the face pieces on, but we didn’t, so the kids can play with them over and over!
There was also a project using a balloon to propel a paper rocket, but it didn’t work too well for us as the balloon wouldn’t stay attached to the tape.
We also made a catapult that shoots pom poms...
…and decorated a “K” for kite. My daughter really liked this, since her name starts with K.
There was also a worksheet to practice writing K and worksheets where K had to fill in the missing letters and numbers. My daughter did very well on most of the activities.
Kidable Adventures was founded by Venessa Banks since she knows her son (like many other young children) enjoy learning best when it is FUN! Her goal is to spare other moms the struggle of finding fun and education activities for their kids. The Kidable criteria for the activities in their box are that they must be enriching, engaging and entertaining.
You can purchase Kidable monthly subscription, or individual boxes. They even have mini-kits available. Right now you can get Butterfly or Dinosaur box!
