Love with Food May 2014 Box
I got another Love with Food box recently. I got a good deal, so I figured I would give it another try. There were a couple of really good items but overall I didn’t find it the most spectacular box I’ve been sent. I don’t know. Maybe was the lack of chocolate. 😉
My personal favorites in this box were the Sea Salt Caramels by Le Caramel. I love chocolate, but caramel is fabulous as well. These were chewy and delicious.
DH really liked the J&M Key Lime cookies. I’m not a fan of key lime, so I was happy to let him have them. He really raved about about how good they were. My kids picked at the Sweet Potato chips from One Potato Two Potato and we all enjoyed the Torallino Snacks by Terre di Puglia.
I haven’t tried the 3 teabags I received from Revolution Tea, which included honeybush caramel, southern mint and tropical green tea. I did, however, try the tropical peach drink mix from Flavrz Organic, a liquid water enhancer. It was probably not the flavor I would have chosen, but it had a decent flavor.
My son, who is probably the least picky of us, really tore up the Giddy Up and Go Granola. My daughter turned her nose up at it.
I still haven’t tried the two flavored salts from the Spice Lab. There were two flavors in the box–hickory smoked and Italian black truffle. There is really only enough for a single serve dish of something.
I have gotten a couple of Love with Food boxes that I really liked. Usually those are around the end of the year.
