Okay, moms. If you have little girls, you know what little “princesses” they can be. Dress up, jewelry, etc. Most of the time, little girls also like spending time with you, and being like you. Especially when they’re young. That’s why Crafter’s Crate offers a monthly box of crafts for girls.
Crafter’s Crate allows you and your daughter to spend quality time together while also appealing to her more “feminine” tastes. Previous kits have included projects like scrapbooks, hair clips and bath kits. No need to go shopping for supplies. Everything you need is in the box!
There were five projects altogether in the Crafter’s Crate my daughter and I were sent to experience together. Of, course, seeing that K is aged 3 1/2, I ended up doing most of the work, but she was thrilled to participate and be involved! And the most thrilling thing of all–we were spending time together!
This fun and fruity interchangable stamp set.
Chocolate chip cookie earrings. They’re clip-ons, so no piercing necessary. We made the cookies out of clay, then baked them in the oven and used glue dots to attach them. Unfortunately K didn’t like the earrings on her ears and the cookies kept coming loose, so we will have to use something more permanent.
And this nifty little recipe card holder. We didn’t do it exactly like the instrctions said, but creative license is part of the fun! I love the little double-layered flower that was so easy with the provided template!
By the way, they also included a recipe for “Fruit Pizza” that sounds positively yummy. It is actually really similar to my strawberry cheesecake pizza, except instead of pizza dough it uses a roll of sugar cookie dough. Must try sometime!
There were 2 other projects we haven’t gotten around to making yet. But I am looking forward to those as well!
If you think this is something you’d like to try, Crafter’s Crate would like to offer my readers a $10 off coupon on your first box! Just use code: OCTOBER10 Expires November 31!
