Have you heard of Pleygo? Pleygo is a LEGO rental service where you pay a monthly fee and receive a LEGO set in the mail. When your child is ready for a new one, you send the set back with the prepaid label that it comes with an receive another one. Sort of like Netflix.
There are 3 tiers of membership and the size of the sets you receive depend on which membership you’ve selected. Once you subscribe, you create a “wish list” of sets your child would be interested in. Then you will get one of those mailed to you.
What if your child is not old enough for LEGO’s? Mine aren’t. Pleygo also has a selection of DUPLO sets. They only have a few DUPLO sets though, and you have to be a “superfan” (highest level) to get them.
Pleygo sent us the DUPLO Number Train set and both of my kids love it! My son loves trains, my daughter likes the numbers and they both like building with the blocks. By the way, my son loves the little dog with the set too.
Kids, especially little kids, get tired of toys fairly quickly. This way, they can have new toys, and when they stop playing with them, get them another new one. Then you don’t have to keep a LEGO set that’s not getting played with. Great if you have limited space in your home.

And through November 4, Pleygo is having a video contest where your child can submit a video about their best LEGO creation. Go here for more info!
