If your kids are like mine, they probably love those squeezable pouches, right? Or maybe they like those squeezable yogurts. The prepackaged ones can get expensive if they eat them a lot, and you don’t have a lot of control over what goes in them either. That’s why I love reusable food pouches!
With reusable food pouches, like the ones from Yummi Pouch, you can make your own pureed fruits, smoothies and yogurts, put them in the pouch and voila! Easy, on the go breakfast or snack without added sugar or preservatives.
I received the 2.5 oz, 6 oz and 10 oz Yoomi pouches to try out. The 6 oz ones are probably the best size for kids. The spout is on the side, which is a little different than other pouches I’ve tried. But this way you can fill up at the top, instead of the bottom. The Yoomi Pouch brights have fun designs and only come in the 6 oz size.
My kids loved these and have been asking for applesauce constantly. The 2.5 oz mini pouches don’t last long at all, but would probably be great for babies. The Yoomi Pouch store has some spoon attachments as well as other accessories for your Yoomi Pouch.
Yoomi Pouches are refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher safe. However, though they are dishwasher safe, I don’t find they get very well cleaned in the dishwasher because the opening is too narrow for the water to flow through properly. I find it is better to hand wash.
You can get 6 regular Yoomi pouches for $14.99 which is one of the better deals I’ve seen on reusable food pouches. Plus, there is free shipping on orders over $30.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
