Reusable Plastic Wrap Replacement

Plastic Wrap replacement

If you find yourself using a lot of plastic wrap to cover dishes or big things like watermelon, you may want to look into these Food Safe Silicone Covers from Accidental Shopping as a plastic wrap replacement.

This set of food-safe silicone lids is oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. They are so stretchy they can almost double in diameter. Look at the lid and bowl below. On the left you see the lid next to the bowl and on the right the bowl with the lid on it!

This set comes with 8 lids in different sizes. Since receiving them, I’ve been able to cover dishes I had lost the lids to (or that never had one). I found the lids to be be air-tight and that they gripped the edges of the bowls really well. They are also flexible and are easy to roll up andstash away when not in use!

At $25 for a set of 8, they are also a pretty good deal–especially for something you will use over and over!

Accidental Shopping also has a lot of other neat products like this silicone roasting rack, ice pop makers and a silicone steamer.

Accidental Shopping was founded by Deborah Dash in 2004 and provides consumers with products that are both practical and unique. Deborah brought her variety of products to companies and set up “shop at work” pop up shopping for employees. Now, of course her reach is a lot farther!
