  1. I purchased the Samsung GearVR at Christmas and it was amazing although there was much room for improvement. Now with more and more sites and apps created mostly for the GearVR, Samsung updated its popular GearVR, which is available today for the same price as the old one. I was glad to hear of the improvements and new features which includes a wider field of view of 101 degrees, more padding for comfort, a USB-C port, a smoother touchpad and a dedicated home button. Is it worth the upgrade?

Honestly, I cannot say. I do not actually have both to compare. I say if the one you have works well for you, then stick with it!
