Check Out Squooshi Reusable Squeeze Pouches!

SQUOOSHI4PACK

My kids love squeeze pouches. It’s a great way to sneak veggies into their diet, too. I’ve seen a few brands of reusable squeeze pouches around, but these pouches from Squooshi are by far the cutest ones I’ve seen yet! A-DOR-A-BLE!!!
I got a set of four to try out. Mine included 2 small pouches (the bluebird and the lion) and 2 larger ones (the panda and the walrus). And 4 caps. I didn’t get to try the brand new designs (the monkey and the penguin) and they are the larger size as well.

Squooshi pouches open and zip close on their bottoms, sort of like a plastic baggie, but much sturdier. I was a little afraid of them bursting open and everything falling out, but that did not happen.
2 things to remember are (1) Put the cap on before filling, even if you plan to remove it as soon as the pouch is full. Ask me how I know! (2) Only fill it about 3/4 full, or you won’t be able to close it without making a mess!
Squooshi pouches are dishwasher safe, but I still found I needed to wash them by hand. I guess they are just not wide enough to get a good flow of water in there. They are also freezer safe, so feel free to fill them up and freeze them for later!
They are BPA, phtalate, PVC and lead free and sure to be a hit with kids!
Besides the actual pouches, Squooshi also sells the “Fill n’ Squeeze” (ideal for filling the pouches), a drying rack, labels and “Sip n’ Soft Tops” that can be used for smoothies, or runnier foods. Check out all of the Squooshi products, including some great deals on sets!
The Squooshi website also has some awesome, healthy baby food recipes to share. These are ideal for putting in your Squooshi pouch. And since it’s all homemade, it’s preservative free and only has what you put in it! Plus, you’re saving money in the long run.
Connect with Squooshi and get your kids excited about eating healthy!

I really like the idea of these, and have been eyeballing them for a while now. My main concern is they seem like they would be hard to clean by hand (I don’t use my dishwasher). Also, do you think in a humid climate they would mold easily on the inside?

    • Actually, though they are dishwasher safe, I usually end up hand washing these as well, because, especially in the small ones, the water isn’t able to get into them very well in the dishwasher. I use a bottle brush to get in them. If you rinse them out soon after use, you shouldn’t have a lot of problems keeping them clean. As far as mold, if you just fill it up in the morning to have on hand for the day, that won’t be a problem. I haven’t had a problem with the clean dry pouches molding with no food in them.

  2. I appreciate the review of these. I had seen them but wasn’t sure if they would work.
