Wellness Wednesday: Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil

disclosureTropical Traditions Coconut Oil

Gold Label Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

I recently received a jar of Tropical Traditions Extra Virgin Coconut Oil via Tomoson.
Coconut oil is one of those “good fats” that are supposed to be ok for us to have and are supposed to actually help burn fat. I have found that on days I take a TBSP of coconut oil, I seem to get less cravings and I believe it also helps my digestion. To read more about the benefits of coconut oil, check out this site.
For some reason, Tropical Traditions doesn’t smell quite like coconut to me and the scent is not my favorite. But Tropical Traditions is widely recognized as one of the leaders in that area, so it must just be me! And I can’t deny the awesome health benefits!

There are so many things you can use coconut oil, besides cooking. It has an array of uses, both internally and externally. I’ve made homemade diaper ointment with it. You can also make body scrub (by combining coconut oil with coarse salt or sugar), lip balm and possibly toothpaste (by mixing with baking soda) or deodorant (by mixing with corn starch). I haven’t tried those last two yet. For a huge list of possible uses for coconut oil, see Hybrid Rasta Mama’s 160 uses for coconut oil.

Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil? You can also watch this video about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil.

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the  advantages of buying coconut oil online.

You can connect with tropical Traditions in a variety of ways, including:

*I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.*
