Do you know about Tea Tree Oil? Chances are you have, especially if you spend any time looking up info on natural living. Tea Tree Oil is known for its antibacterial properties and is often a key ingredient in many natural remedies and homemade cleaning products.
I knew it was good to use in homemade cleaners, and I use it in my homemade disinfectant spray. But I didn’t how many other things it is good for until I had a chance to review Australian tea tree oil from Apothecary Extracts. I received a 4 oz bottle, which is big for an essential oil, and a recipe book full of recipes for a host of things, from shampoo to toilet cleaner
Some of the things tea tree oil is said to cure are: acne, dandruff, fungal infections, sore muscles and more.
Here is a recipe for healing massage oil–one of many recipes in their recipe book, which comes free with your purchase!
Healing Massage Oil
2 drops ginger essential oil
4 drops peppermint essential oil
5 drops Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil
4 drops eucalyptus essential oil
1 drop black pepper essential oil
1 oz Coconut Oil
Combine all oils over low heat until coconut oil is melted and then let cool for 10 minutes. Transfer oil to dark colored glass with airtight lid. Use 1-1 1/2 tsp of oil for full body massage or target sore muscles specifically.
I’m discovering there are a ton of uses for tea tree oil and it’s a good idea to have some on hand.
