Are you looking for THM Drive Thru Sue Snacks? In other words, are you looking for quick, easy Trim Healthy Mama snacks that you can buy at the store or online? Then you’ve come to the right place!

On Trim Healthy Mama, we are encouraged to make our own foods and snacks if possible. But sometimes we just need something we can buy ready made. We call these “Drive Thru Sue” options on Trim Healthy Mama. That’s not to say we never cook anything, but there are certain things we’d just rather buy than make (like bread and condiments).
The rise in popularity of the “keto diet” has given us more pre-made options than ever. Unfortunately, not all the packaged products labeled “low carb” or “sugar free” are necessarily acceptable on the Trim Healthy Mama plan.
So I’ve decided to compile a list of packaged foods that would be acceptable on the plan. Some of these options are “personal choice” which means they contain one or more ingredients that are considered “less than ideal” but can be used on plan by those needing an easy option.

The difference Between “Personal Choice” and “Off Plan”
Ingredients that make foods “personal choice” and not on unreservedly on plan include (but are not limited to) vegetable “fiber” of any kind (corn, tapioca), prebiotic fiber, milk protein isolate, small amounts of sugar.
Blood sugar reaction to these ingredients varies from person to person, and while it might not have any negative impact on some, they may be a hindrance to weight loss for others.
Ingredients that are typically found in “keto friendly” or “sugar free” foods, but make food completely off plan include (but are not limited to) starches (corn, tapioca, potato), cassava flour, tapioca flour, arrowroot powder, sucralose, maltitol, rice flour (unless it specifies brown), dry milk.
This list is simply meant as an guide to know what kind of packaged foods are acceptable on plan. I do plan to update this list as I find new products, or need to update info, so I recommend bookmarking or pinning this post for reference, rather than printing it out.
I tried to include links to as many things as possible for reference. Some things will be much cheaper if you can find them locally. Some you can only get online.
There are certain things where I’ve listed a type of product rather than a specific brand, along with the guidelines for them being on plan. In these cases, there are usually multiple brands available that fit. Examples of this include “natural peanut butter,” “rice cereal” or “konjac noodles.” A link is included in case you need to find an online option, but it’s usually something you could find locally at a health food store.

From the THM group, it looks like 1 slice is considered “personal choice” for any meal type, but it’s not recommended to have more than one at a time.

I still use sucralose. In both plan books they say while not “plan approved” if it was something you couldn’t live without it, it wasn’t terrible. Any one have an opinion on it?

Aldi’s Knock Your Sprouts off bread is on plan, I believe, and last week they had sprouted wraps also. The new Bake Believe baking chips, and the Aldi brand 90% dark chocolate bars are on plan as well I think. Aldi’s has also had riced cauliflower and cauliflower crust pizza that is ok as well. Thanks you so much for this list – I’m not a great cook so I rely heavily on DTS things and this was so very helpful!
What about Jo Jo’s dark chocolate bars? half of one is 4 carbs
I’m not sure on that one. I haven’t seen it mentioned in the facebook group. I know dried fruits aren’t highly encouraged, but a small amount may be alright for a personal choice. Are these the ones you’re talking about?
I use Walden’s syrups. Are they in plan?
They are not technically on plan because they are sweetened with sucralose.
